If you attempt to modify a user object where the Manager attribute is populated by a deleted object (such as a terminated employee), CloudPortal Services Manager (CPSM) will not be able to provision the new modifications to the user in the CDS Hosted Applications Platform. It will place the user in an error state that prevents provisioning of services.
To mitigate this issue, please update the Manager field of affected user objects before deleting the object that served as the manager.
If this has already occurred, you may resolve the error state in CPSM by following these steps.
Once these steps are complete and the Manager attribute is updated in the agency Active Directory domain, the user is able to be provisioned for services again. To re-enable AD Sync for the user account, simply make an attribute change to the Active Directory user object. It will then re-synchronize with CPSM.
